Restaurants

Transworld started as the recruitment advertising industry’s first restaurant specialist over 45 years ago and has opened thousands of locations over the years. We know restaurants like no one else – and while we’ve added other focus industries over the years, restaurants are the industry that we know like the back of our hand.

We ran the first restaurant industry recruitment campaigns on Facebook back in 2006, and we’ve helped roll out interview scheduling technology to more than 1,000 restaurant locations since.

We know that it’s easiest to be on the floor with your team, and interview qualified candidates when they walk in to meet you. We know that often times the quickest to call someone in for an interview is the one that gets the hire – so we use technology to enable your teams to get a jump on the competition, without asking managers on the floor to break up their routine to do it.

How it works for a restaurant group

GMs request support for their restaurant through a simple hiring portal, within the limits & guides that leadership teams have set. We give them data about what’s working, where their traffic is coming from and the ability to deploy one day and recurring in person hiring events.

We plan the advertising around each location’s real gaps, so a store that’s fully staffed on line cooks isn’t spending money to drive more in the door. Someone on our team watches results every weekday and make recommendations based on what we’re seeing in the market.

Opening a new restaurant? We’ll plan the hiring push around your date, including promotion for in person hiring times and structures. We set it all up so your team just has to focus on meeting new team members.

Data at your fingertips

Spending and cost per application for each restaurant and role, in your own analytics portal and in email reports for the people who want them. Your openings also show up on Jobs Near You, our map based job board, where candidates apply directly with you.

Career sites built for restaurant hiring

Most restaurant career pages are a single page with a link to the ATS but candidates want to easily find your location, how close it is to them and apply quickly. So we build career sites around exactly that.

Take Piedmont Beverage Company, a 7 Brew franchise operator with stands across Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Their career site, piedmontbevco.com, lets a candidate:

  • Search by distance or “near me” and see every stand that’s hiring on a map, with the number of open roles at each one
  • Browse by role, so a Brewista and a future Stand Manager each land on the jobs meant for them
  • Get real answers on an FAQ and a pay and benefits page, written the way candidates ask the questions (and also how AI tools read them)
  • Apply quickly with Piedmont in a few clicks, with tracking built in to let us understand the candidate journey

Career sites meant to be found in AI search

More candidates now ask ChatGPT or Google’s AI answers “who’s hiring near me.” Piedmont’s site is built so those tools can read it. Every job carries standard job posting data with the stand’s real street address and the pay when it’s posted. The site also publishes a plain language guide for AI tools that lists every open role and city. And Piedmont can see in their reporting which AI tools are reading the site, and how many candidates arrived from an AI assistant and clicked apply.
