More job seekers now start with a question instead of a search box: “Who is hiring servers near me?” or “Find me a pest control technician job in Dallas.” Those questions go to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and the AI answers at the top of Google. If an employer’s jobs are hard for those tools to read, the employer simply does not come up.

We built Jobs Near You so AI assistants can find our clients’ openings, understand them, and send candidates straight to the right application.

What we do behind the scenes

  • A guide written for AI. The board publishes an llms.txt file, a plain language map of the site for AI tools, listing roles, cities and recent openings. It refreshes every hour.
  • Structured job data. Every listing carries standard job posting data: the employer, pay when posted, job type and a street address with map coordinates, so an assistant can answer “how far” and “how much” accurately.
  • Fresh listings. Openings update hourly from employer hiring systems and filled jobs drop off, so assistants do not recommend jobs that are already gone.
  • Fast notice to search engines. New and changed pages are reported to search engines as they happen instead of waiting to be found.
  • Direct apply. Every job links to the employer’s own application, so the candidate an assistant sends lands in the employer’s hiring system.

Why this matters for employers

Job ads still do the heavy lifting, but candidates are adding new ways to look for work. Being readable by AI tools is becoming as important as being on the right job sites. Our clients’ openings flow onto the board straight from their hiring systems, with nothing extra for their teams to do.
